Delve into the remarkable world of food pathways and cultural landscapes in this unique, day long, pop-up workshop. Guided by Reyna Banteah (Zuni) of Ts'uyya Farm, Katrina Blair of Turtle Lake Refuge, and Crow Canyon’s own Rebecca Renteria, you’ll embark on a field trip into the San Juan Mountains while learning about past and present ecosystems, then return to the high desert to create delectable treats at Crow Canyon’s campus near Cortez, CO. Throughout the day we explore the cultural significance of plants, and ethics of gathering while learn about essential nutrients, and how cuisine with wild foods boosts our vitality, provides medicine, and feeds our souls.

Group size limited to 15 participants. Bring your own lunch and plenty of water.

Priced at $200 for the day

A $200 payment is due upon registration.

Refunds are not available for workshop registration. We encourage all participants to carefully consider their availability and commitment before registering. If you have to cancel, you may have the option to donate your funds to support Crow Canyon, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. Charitable gifts make Crow Canyon’s mission and educational programming like this workshop possible. Upon transferring your funds, we will provide you with a tax-deductible receipt. If you are more than 15-minutes late to the program, we will not be able to accommodate your attendance, and no refund will be issued. In the event of unforeseen circumstances in which Crow Canyon must cancel the program, full refunds will be granted.
