Module 2- Teaching Native Waters: Deepening Knowledge of Soils

Every Wednesday from May 11th through June 8th at 4:00 p.m. MT (3:00 p.m. PT)

Teaching Native Waters (TNW) is a community of educators and scientists working in service of Indigenous youth. Through sharing skills, knowledge, and professional development, TNW seeks to expand horizons for the next generation in the areas of climate, soil, food, and water.

Module 1 (Know Your Soil) will weave together the wisdom of our speakers and place-based learning topics. Place-based learning encourages you to look at your community and environment as a potential classroom and to identify phenomena in those settings that can illustrate important scientific concepts and help teach important practices.
