Brought to you by the Four Corners Lecture Series, the Hisatsinom Chapter of the Colorado Archaeological Society, and the Crow Canyon Archaeological Center.

Chaco’s Monumental Roads: New Fieldwork and Insights: Rob and his team are investigating monumental roads throughout the Chaco world using a combination of GPS mapping, drone photogrammetry, optically-stimulated luminescence (OSL) dating, and comparative insights with monumental roads across the ancient world. In this talk, he will present new findings about the use and meanings of symbolic roadways in the precontact U.S. Southwest, with emphasis on issues of inequality, regional organization, and religion.

The webinar is suitable for lifelong learners from high school students to adults.  The lesson is free.
