Online Webinar
Paul Ermigiotti and Mark Varien will present a webinar on one of the Crow Canyon's longest running and most important projects (2008-2020): The Pueblo Farming Project (PFP).
The PFP began when Crow Canyon archaeologists asked our Pueblo colleagues a simple question: “What topic would you like to see us study with our research?” They answered without hesitation: “Corn farming.”
Together, traditional Pueblo farmers and Crow Canyon staff designed the PFP. Experimental gardening became the focal point of the PFP. Pueblo farmers provided the seed and the farming expertise, and they worked with Crow Canyon researchers and educators to plant and harvest small fields and measure how annual weather affected yields.
Join Paul and Mark to learn about this exciting project!
